My story
I’m Charissa, born in Belgium, and I’ve always sought a deep, personal connection with nature. After years living in a camper, I made Poland my home in January 2024. From childhood, I’ve been captivated by the beauty and inhabitants of the natural world, a passion that led me to a year of bushcraft training and has since driven me to continue exploring survival skills. I firmly believe that learning is a lifelong journey, and I keep taking trainings to deepen my understanding.
During my youth I faced challenges, but nature offered a place where I felt truly at home, and where I learned more about the world beyond me. My professional path reflects this passion: five years working in a bumblebee nursery, where I learned about ecosystems and caring for essential pollinators, and three years as zookeeper, where I cared for diverse species and witnessed the wonders of wildlife up close. Through my work and personal discoveries, I aim to help others feel more at home in nature by sharing practical knowledge, sparking curiosity, and guiding respectful, sustainable engagement with the natural world.
