Explore the last primeval forest in Europe: 
Białowieża (Poland).

Immerse yourself in the ancient woodlands of Białowieża, Poland, home to the last primeval forest in Europe and a UNESCO World Heritage Site. This four-day adventure combines the thrill of birdwatching with the excitement of wildlife observation, including the iconic European bison. Each day will be filled with guided walks through the forest, where you can observe a variety of bird species and learn about the fascinating mammals that inhabit this unique ecosystem. 


Day 1  

We provide transportation from Warsaw to our cottage. 
We meet at Warsaw airport around 1 p.m. We enjoy a group dinner, discuss the plan for the upcoming days and check in at our local accommodation.

Exploration of Białowieża Forest (Location 1).  We will spend the day observing the diverse bird and mammal species in this pristine natural habitat.

 On the last day we visit the European Bison Show Reserve and the Forest Museum.  

The trip is expected to conclude around the early afternoon, we will bring you back to Warsaw.

1. What's included?

3. How do I travel to the location?

Transport to Poland is not included in the price. When departure is guaranteed (with at least 3 registered participants), you will recieve an email presenting travel options to Warsaw (Plane, train,...). You will be connected with other participants to coordinate potential shared travel. We will pick you up at Warsaw Airport.
If you come by car, you can park at the accommodation.

4. Can I pay in installments?

Yes, you pay the first €450 upon registration, the remaining €500 you pay 2 months before the start date.

5. Do I have to be sporty?

A good basic condition is necessary! The area is quite flat, but we cover about 12-16km/day.

6. What do i bring with me?

No worries! You will receive an email well in advance with a comprehensive list of tips and tricks, including recommendations on suitable clothing and other essentials to prepare for the trip.

7. I don't have binoculars, do i need to buy one?

No! You can rent binoculars from us for €25,-.

8. Which languages should i speak?

English/Nederlands

9. Can i bring my pet?

Pets are not allowed. This is to prevent wild animals from being scared and to avoid disturbing other participants. Additionally, pets are also prohibited in the European Bison Show Reserve.
